Dear Friend of the Jewish Home,

The true meaning of the Jewish Home's work is often expressed in the gratitude of our seniors and their loved ones for all we do to improve life at every stage of aging.

In this month's e-Newsletter, you'll learn about the vital work Skirball Hospice is doing to improve the experiences of our families facing end-of-life challenges, and meet new Skirball team members, Bill Ries and Julia Cage-Lindsay.

Springtime and its theme of blossoming life is reflected in preparations for one of our favorite annual events at the Home, the Largest Mother's Day Celebration in the World. You can read about this year's festivities below.

You'll also meet one of our especially-gifted residents, and learn about the philosophy of life that informs her art, inspires her friendships, and brightens all her days at the Jewish Home.

Finally, at the end of April (also known as "Volunteer Month"), we acknowledge the incredible contributions of more than 250 community volunteers with our annual Volunteer Luncheon.
